Flying kites is one of the oldest forms of entertainment. We as a family have a long tradition of flying kites while at the beach. It started as a way for my husband to ensure our children knew where we were setting up on vacation. A sort of landmark in case they became disoriented by the sea of people enjoying the sun. To this day we fly the same 21 year old kite each time we go to the beach, now as just an entertaining activity. After spending decades in our careers, and some time sailing the Atlantic we wanted to share our joy of kites with others. Carolina Kite House offers that same style kite we continue to fly. It offers so much more though. Toys, games, windsocks, chimes, spinners. Basically things that make people smile. We hope you'll come down the the store to meet us.
